Lot Tracking & Serial Tracking

Lot Tracking allows you to track several units of a stock item using the same lot or batch number. Expiry dates and user-defined status allow you to further control stock items. Users can determine what can be purchased or sold by Lot Status. You cannot sell stock items that have expired. You can track items simultaneously by Lot Number and by Serial Number.

Serial Numbers tracking allows the user to track items individually.  One would need this function in order to find if a product is still under warranty or not, when it was sold and to whom it was sold.  Specific inventory items, from the beginning of their lifetime process are tracked uniquely.

With Reporting, one can track the individual life time of a particular item, what happened to it line by line with fields like Serial Number, item code & description, transaction date & reference giving all the detailed necessary information.
