  •  The latest service packs should be installed for your operating system before installing or upgrading Sage products. 32-bit Operating Systems recommended.
  •  Whilst there are no browser requirements for Sage, we recommend Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 or above for internet access to Sage Support and important Sage updates for your products.

  • To optimise performance your antivirus software should be configured to exclude Sage files from its checking routines.

 Apple Mac compatibility

Sage software is not compatible with Apple Macs, unless you are running Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 via Apple’s Boot Camp utility.

 Important Information about Windows XP

Microsoft ended all support for Windows XP in April 2014 including important security updates. This means that your computer and your data may be significantly vulnerable to malicious security attacks. Sage take the protection of your data extremely seriously which is why new versions of Sage 50 Accounts v21 will no longer install or operate on Windows XP.
